DELIGEORGIS ANASTASIOS MD, MSc is an Orthopaedic Surgeon and Sports Injury Specialist, Associate Director of the 3rd Department of Orthopaedics, HYGEIA Private Hospital (Athens).

He treats the entire spectrum of orthopaedic diseases and sports injuries effectively and safely. His primary areas of specialization are Arthroscopic and Reconstructive Surgery, as well as Joint Replacement Surgery in all major joints of the body. He uses modern treatments, pioneering and minimally invasive surgery techniques-MIS, fast-track protocols with short hospitalization, robotic assisted technology and digital systems.

His specialization in Sports Medicine (International Olympic Committee’s Diploma in Sports Medicine) and his long-term experience in the treatment of sports injuries, ensure the fastest and safest return of the patient to his sports activities.

Dr. Deligeorgis was trained in advanced arthroscopy, in internationally certified medical training centers. Now he is Associate Director of the 3rd Orthopaedic Department of HYGEIA hospital which is one of the few certified centers in Greece in Arthroscopic Surgery.

Dr. Deligeorgis has had postgraduate training in robot-assisted technology and the use of navigators which is the most modern trend in Orthopaedics for Joint Replacement Surgery.

He has worked for many years in leading medical centers abroad and cooperates with internationally recognized orthopedic surgeons and their teams, while continues to participate in international research programs, thus remaining at the forefront of medical developments

Dr. Deligeorgis runs a second office in Marousi, Attica (opposite the Ygeia Hospital).
