Under the guidance of internationally renowned paediatric orthopaedic surgeons, he specialized both in the field of trauma and in the treatment of acute/chronic (complicated and non-complicated) conditions related to childhood. During his residency, he was awarded (one of 15 Paediatric Orthopaedic Fellows worldwide) a fellowship by the Pediatric Orthopaedic Society of North America (POSNA) and the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS), which he completed in Orlando, Florida (USA). After completing a 3-year specialization in paediatric orthopaedics (Royal London Hospital - UK), he decided to return and practice his profession in the city of Thessaloniki, in order to provide high-quality health services, which should not be considered a luxury, but a basic obligation to patients.
