The ALPHALAB laboratory, located in the center of Patras (Ipsila Alonia), performs the full range of tests that a modern microbiology laboratory is called upon to perform.
In particular, the following tests are carried out: blood tests (hematology, biochemical, hormonal, immunology), body fluid tests (general & urine culture, general, parasitological & stool culture, general & vaginal fluid culture, spermogram & semen culture, general & synovial and pleural fluid culture).
In addition, tests for molecular testing for thrombophilia, basic genetic testing for thrombophilia (genes, 3-4 days result), full genetic testing for thrombophilia (14 genes) and hereditary diseases, rapid test and PCR (same day result) for the diagnosis of SARS-CoV-2 are performed.
Daily, the Alphalab microbiology laboratory carries out blood sampling at home and delivers the results at home, with arrangement of the time and place in advance.
Moreover, it is possible to send the results to the patient or to the attending physician via e-mail.
