A modern museum of ancient artefacts

Great museum

Opens til 8 in summer.Cafe ok.Small and crete local cakes very good. Limited menu. The exhibitions are stunning.Go before you visit knossos

Well presented

Very well laid out and presented. Good labelling in different languages. Lots of pots (there were other things too)! I'm not sure how interesting it would be for children. Perhaps some interactive exhibits...

Good collection!

Worth of spending some hour! We visited the museum in 2019, now the place was in a whole new building, better room for the exhibition.
