I have been to this place as many people recommended it. Overall we had a good experience. The service is decent and they serve quality food. I recommend the fish of the day which is really fresh.

I don't know the history of Bakaliko, but I imagine it grew from a local taverna where fishermen sent their catch to be cooked for locals to enjoy the same evening. The display of fish in the ice counter...
