Unfortunately, I only saw this cathedral from the outside, because I went to Piraeus to see it on the second day of Christmas. The shops were open on this day, but the museums and churches were closed...

Beautiful! Truly a must see in this Port Town. It is FREE and the walls are unbelievably beautiful. Remember it's a place of worship so please dress accordingly.

A must see Orthodox Cathedral. It is the metropolis church (Central) chgiurch in Piraeus. Its Eikons and architecture is amazing.

Impressive facade. Very ornated. We discovered this church with the VoiceMap audio tour of Piraeus. Mass was taking place when we visited. Very interesting.
