The urologist Dr KALAITZIDIS SAVVAS operates a medical practice in Thessaloniki.
He received postgraduate training at the Urological Institute of the University of PADOVA in addressing medical problems with the appropriate method for each case, whether pharmaceutical, surgical, or even with acupuncture (without medication).
In his two fully equipped medical practices, he treats persistent and chronic conditions that don't respond to conventional therapies, such as varicocele, which he treats with a new, innovative, minimally invasive method, with a minor 1 cm incision without any pain or need for hospitalization, using only local anesthesia (TAUBER sclerotherapy), and also performs prostatectomy procedures with the most modern, bloodless, and low-cost technology (TURis).
Additionally, classic and transrectal ultrasound scanning is performed for the treatment of prostate, as well as uroflowmetry, camera-assisted cystoscopy, prostate biopsy, and frenuloplasty and complete wart removal procedures.
The doctor received two years of training in medical acupuncture, which he applies in selected persistent conditions.
Finally, the doctor is certified for e-prescriptions by the EOPYY (the Hellenic National Health Services Organization).
