ARTHROHEAL CLINIC - ΓΚΟΥΔΕΛΗΣ ΓΕΩΡΓΙΟΣ MD PhD, which is directed by the Orthopaedic Specialist GOUDELIS GEORGIOS MD, PhD, is a clinic located in Kalamaria, Thessaloniki.

Georgios D. Goudelis was born in Cologne, Germany. He completed all his school studies in Thessaloniki, where he also continued his studies in higher education. He is a graduate of the Medical School of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.

He began his specialization training at the Propedeutic Clinic of Surgery of the University of Thessaloniki and continued his training at KAT Hospital, in the 1st Orthopedic Clinic of the University of Athens, under the consultancy of Professor P.N. Soukakos.

During his residency, he received specialized training in reconstructive surgery - knee, hip and shoulder arthroplasty, in the treatment of fractures, arthroscopic surgery - sports injuries, microsurgery - hand surgery, and in pediatric orthopedics at the Children's Hospital of Penteli. After completing his residency, he continued his studies in Germany for a year on a scholarship from the Ruprecht-Karls University of Heidelberg at the “Center for Knee, Ankle and Foot Surgery and Sports Injuries” at the world-renowned ATOS CLINIC, in Heidelberg, Germany, an approved ISAKOS training center.

Under the supervision of the leading orthopedic professors Hans and Thermann, he received intensive training in arthroscopic and advanced reconstructive knee surgery (arthroplasty) and foot surgery, sports injury surgery, and the treatment of articular cartilage damages with autologous stem cell transplantation, as well as in regenerative medicine for adults and children.

This education cycle was completed with the attendance and participation in the shoulder and elbow clinic in major arthroscopic surgery and shoulder arthroplasty procedures, under the guidance of Professor Peter Habermeyer, Professor of Orthopedics at the University of Hanover. In 2007, he was awarded a doctorate degree from the University of Athens with an Honorary Grade.

In 2020, after intensive training at the ZIMMER BIOMET INSTITUTE in Germany in robotic knee surgery, he received an international certification and is now considered one of the few officially recognized orthopedic surgeons trained in ROSA robotic arthroplasty in Europe. During all these years, he performed speeches in conferences and workshops, presented his written work with published articles abroad and domestically, and is also the author of chapters in medical books.

He maintains his contact with the ATOS clinic in Heidelberg to stay updated on developments in modern orthopedics.

For the last 15 years, he has been intensively involved in reconstructive and personalized knee and hip surgery, having performed the most personalized digital knee arthroplasty (PSI) surgeries in Greece, as well as the most minimally invasive ALMIS hip replacement surgeries in Northern Greece, with particular success and international recognition.

Today, he lives in Thessaloniki and is the founder and scientific director of ArthroHeal Clinic, a specialized medical center for robotic surgery and treatment of joint diseases in adults and children, in Kalamaria, Thessaloniki. He also collaborates with the Interbalkan Medical Center, where he maintains a medical office and performs surgical procedures.

Furthermore, Dr. Georgios Goudelis has been the doctor for the HANTH men’s basketball team since 2024.
