LITSAS IOANNIS

LITSAS IOANNIS is an endocrinologist - diabetologist, who operates a medical office in Evosmos. He was born in Athens and graduated from the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens in 2003.

He completed his rural service during the period 5/2003 - 9/2004, at the Health Center of Istiaia, Evia. He obtained the specialty in endocrinology at the endocrinology clinic of the General Hospital of Thessaloniki 'Hippocratio' in 2011. Since 2012, he has been practicing endocrinology on a private basis in Evosmos, Thessaloniki.

Since 2012, he is a scientific associate in the gestational endocrinology unit of the First Obstetrics and Gynecology Clinic of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, at Papageorgiou General Hospital of Thessaloniki. He is also a member of the Hellenic Endocrine Society.

The doctor specializes in the following conditions: thyroid disorders, type 1 and type 2 diabetes, osteoporosis and metabolic bone diseases, metabolism, obesity, polycystic ovary syndrome, as well as menstrual disorders.

He also treats adrenal and pituitary disorders, menopause, parathyroid disorders, calcium/vitamin D disorders, and lipid disorders. Additionally, he is dealing with gestational diabetes, endocrine complications during pregnancy, and growth disorders.

At the same time, there is the possibility of performing a thyroid ultrasound (thyroid U/S) and ultrasound-guided fine needle aspiration (U/S guided FNA).
