ZIKOS TH. PETROS

The oral and maxillofacial surgeon Dr Zikos Th Petros, who maintains a medical practice in Marousi, graduated from the School of Medicine and Dentistry of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.

He specialized in hospitals in Greece (G. Gennimatas, Hippocratio, Theagenio, G. Papanikolaou), after having successfully passed examinations (in the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki).

He holds a medical specialty title in 'Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery' recognized by the European Union (U.E.M.S.) (Article 22 of Law 4272/14 - European Directive 2005/36/EC/ C13.1.2016) and is a PhD candidate at the Dentistry School of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, with a research focus on 'Osteonecrosis of the jaws after the administration of monoclonal antibodies', in collaboration with the AHEPA Hospital.

He is an editorial consultant for several international journals (U.S.A.), conducting an important research work with numerous publications. Dr. Zikos is a scientific associate at the University Clinic of Maxillofacial Surgery of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and an associate of the Athens Medical Group.

During his training, he gained valuable knowledge and experience alongside some of the biggest names internationally in the aesthetic and reconstructive surgery of the face and jaws.

He has participated in various specialized training workshops in Great Britain and is a member of the European Association for Cranio-Maxillo-Facial Surgery (EACMFS).
