KOUDOUNIS PANAGIOTIS

Koudounis Panagiotis is a distinguished cardiologist - arrhythmologist, whose medical office is located within Paleo Faliro Medical Center. He holds an outstanding résumé and has a significant amount of experience in the field of cardiology and arrhythmology.

His academic journey began at the Medical School of the University of Ioannina, where he earned his medical degree. He then pursued postgraduate studies at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.

His expertise in electrophysiology and his training at leading UK institutions such as Guy's and St Thomas' Foundation NHS Trust and King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, as well as his experience at the Hellenic Red Cross Korgialeneio - Benakeio Hospital, position him as a specialized professional in the field of cardiology and arrhythmology.

Since 2019, after being awarded a scholarship from the Hellenic Cardiology Society, he has specialized in Electrophysiology. In 2020, he earned the European certification for implantable cardiac devices. He also holds a European certification in transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography.

Since June 2021, he has been working as supervising physician at the Heart and Vascular Center of Athens Medical Group and the Cardiology Center at Paleo Faliro Medical Center, while from 2023 he runs a cardiology clinic in Markopoulo.

In addition, he serves as a trainer in ALS (Advanced Life Support) and has published in domestic and international journals. He participates in international conferences and writes scientific papers.
