MYCOLAB

The microbiology laboratory - diagnostic centre (bacteriological - clinical laboratory) for specific infections - fungal infections and microbiological tests MYCOLAB, in Chalandri, was founded in 2009 (from 2002 to 2009 it operated as sole proprietorship).

The main objective of Mycolab is to provide primary healthcare services, according to the rules of medical science and ethics, and, more particularly, to perform specific laboratory tests and special cultures for the investigation of specific infections and fungal infections, as well as all types of blood, immunological, hormonal and molecular tests.

At the premises of Mycolab an andrology department operates.

The diagnostic laboratory Mycolab is equipped with the ultramodern Vein Viewer device, of state-of-the-art American technology, with the aid of which blood drawing is performed, without the need of a second attempt, in babies, children and adults of which the veins are not easy to distinguish.

Mycolab Ι.Μ. LTD is contracted with EOPYY (the Hellenic National Health Services Organization), into which, as it is widely known, have been merged most of the social security funds, such as: OPAD, OAEE (TEVE), ETAA (TSAY), IKA, etc.

It has been certified by the European auditing and certification company EUROCERT that the quality management system Mycolab applies in its laboratories, fully meets the requirements of ISO 9001:2008.
