The Veterinary Center VET MEDICA - MILATHIANAKIS K & M, in Heraklion, Crete, is a modern, fully equipped and technologically advanced veterinary clinic, which is staffed by scientifically qualified veterinarians, who approach our little patients with love and sensitivity.

The Veterinary Center provides general veterinary services (vaccines, passports, microchips etc.), has a pathology department, a dental department, an ophthalmology department, a microbiological laboratory (blood tests as well as biochemical, urological and hormone tests, blood coagulation markers, cardiac markers).

At the clinic, routine operations are performed (orchiectomy, ovariohysterectomy), as well as specialized orthopedic surgeries (bone fractures, cruciate ligament ruptures, external osteosynthesis, etc.), and soft tissue operations (gastrotomy, enterotomy, mastectomy, etc.).

In the imaging department, digital radiography is performed (DR with integrated self-diagnosis system), focused ultrasound scanning (head, chest, heart, abdomen), as well as a variety of endoscopic examinations (rhinoscopy, bronchoscopy, gastroscopy, colonoscopy, cystoscopy).

Moreover, the clinic has a dedicated cardiology department where electrocardiograms are performed, the blood pressure (HDO) is measured and focused cardiac ultrasound scanning is also performed.

The Veterinary Center Vet Medica provides short-term hospitalization, intensive care, oxygen therapy and has a special incubator.

In addition, it is equipped with a mobile unit (ambulance) to offer immediate medical assistance and home care.

The clinic covers emergencies, via a special phone number, which is provided by the secretariat.

The Vet Medica team consists of: 8 veterinarians, 4 support personnel and 3 groomers, who provide the best care to our beloved pets, with love and sensitivity.
