GALILEO GALILEI

The Galileo Galilei Institute of European Languages is a Foreign Language Center based in Thessaloniki. Founded in 1986, it has become a point of reference in the field of foreign language education.

Since its establishment in 1986, the Institute has been offering high-level educational services in the instruction of European languages to adults, including Italian, Spanish, English, German, Russian, French, and Dutch.

For children and teenagers, our group operatesGalileo Galilei Generation , where we implement a blended experiential language teaching model based on European standards, designed for learners aged 4 to 15. Our educators form the cornerstone of the learning process, encouraging active participation and cultivating students’ interest not only in the language but also in the culture of each country.

Our teaching methodology focuses on the development of the four core language skills—listening, speaking, reading, and writing—through the use of rich educational resources such as authentic texts, audiovisual content, and interactive multimedia.

The educational process is further enhanced with specially designed textbooks authored by our own instructors. Most of our teachers are native speakers of the languages they teach and possess advanced academic qualifications. Furthermore, teaching is supported by specialized asynchronous e-learning platforms, providing access to supplementary materials and reinforcing the student’s continuous engagement with both the language and the corresponding culture.
