Koureas Georgios, MD, PhD is an orthopedic surgeon and operates his medical office in Pyrgos.

The doctor undertakes, at the Olympion Hospital of Patras, surgical cases involving hip and knee osteoarthritis, spine diseases and sports injuries. He is also specialized in fractures, soft tissue diseases (carpal tunnel syndrome, stenotic tenosynovitis, tendon transfer, etc.).

Curriculum Vitae:

In 1996 he graduated from the School of Medicine of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and in 1999 he obtained the A.T.L.S. (Advanced Trauma Life Support) diploma. In 2004 he trained in the field of pediatric orthopedics at the Hôpital des Enfants Malades “NECKER” in Paris, France, and in 2005 he obtained a specialty title from the Orthopedic Clinic of the “Aghios Andreas” General Hospital of Patras. In 2005 he completed his PhD thesis, with the subject “Comparative analysis of posterolateral lumbar fusion porosity with the use of autografts and coralline hydroxyapatite”. In 2006 - 2007 he took up a salaried position as registrar (Praticien Attaché) at the Saint Vincent de Paul University Hospital in Paris, France.
