Nitsas Vasileios MD PHD, microbiologist - biopathologist, has a bacteriological - clinical laboratory with the name PROTYPA ERGASTIRIA MIKROVIOLOGIAS, which operates since 2008 in the area of Aghios Ioannis, Kalamaria, Thessaloniki. The owner and scientific director of the lab is the biopathologist Vasileios Nitsas MD, PhD, who, at the same time, holds the position of director of the microbiology lab of the clinic “Aghios Loukas”.
The lab PROTYPA ERGASTIRIA MIKROVIOLOGIAS are equipped with modern, high quality analyzers and can perform the following groups of tests: tumor markers, allergy (RAST) tests, prenatal testing, cultures, as well as molecular biology (PCR) tests. Moreover, we have the unique in Greece urinary calculi analyzer, that operates with the FT-IR Laser technology, for the full and absolutely reliable analysis of the urinary tract calculi.
The continuous training, both of the scientific director and of the staff of the lab, the frequent upgrading of its equipment and the participation in programs of external quality control guarantee the quality and reliability of the results.
