KENTRO LOGOTHERAPEIAS EIRMOS

Kentro Logotherapeias Eirmos (Eirmos Speech Therapy Centre), in Kremasti, Rhodes is staffed by experienced speech therapists and logopedists. It opened in 2010 and is a modern prevention, diagnosis and treatment centre.

The centre’s mission is to create a fully scientifically based framework within which speech, language, voice, swallowing and learning difficulties can be treated effectively.

With a focus on this mission, the centre designs flexible individualised programmes which utilise the most effective therapeutic and educational methods. The centre is staffed by a speech therapist and a special educator.

The education programmes offered by the centre are suitable for people with: speech and language disorders, delays in language development, specific learning disabilities (ADHD, dyslexia, dyscalculia, etc.), intellectual development disorders, developmental disorders, genetic syndromes, hearing disorders and neurological diseases, as well as for those who have suffered cerebrovascular accidents.

The centre’s goal is to work towards functional communication at all levels of the individual's daily life and their social integration while living with the disorder, along with an improvement in their everyday quality of life and their life skills.

We all face difficulties, and the most important thing we can do for our loved ones, besides, of course, offering them love and understanding, is to show them how to manage these difficulties.
