DAMOULIS PETROS DDS, DMD, DMSc

Damoulis Petros DDS, DMD, DMSc is a dentist in Athens.

He is a graduate of the School of Pharmacy, as well as of the School of Dentistry of the University of Athens. He was specialized in Periodontology at Tufts University, Boston, USA, and is a doctor of Harvard University, USA in the field of Oral Biology.

He holds a diploma of the American Board of Periodontology and is a Fellow of the International College of Dentists. He has been a member of the teaching staff at Harvard University (Instructor), New York University (Assistant Professor) and Tufts University (Associate Professor, Professor), as well as the head of postgraduate studies at the Dental School of Tufts University (1999-2008).

He has published more than 80 works in reputable scientific journals and has given more than 100 speeches in International and Greek scientific congresses and workshops.

In the period 2015-2017, he was the president of the Hellenic Society of Periodontology and since 2020 he is the scientific publisher of the journal “Developments in Periodontology”, the official journal of the Hellenic Society of Periodontology and Dental Implants.

He operates a private medical office of periodontology and dental implants in Athens since 2008. He deals with the entire range of problems in gums and jawbones, providing treatment for gingivitis, periodontitis, hyperplasia and gum recession, as well as the placement and maintenance of dental implants.
