Pterygium is a benign growth of tissue on the eye's surface, often caused by prolonged sun exposure or irritation. It can cause discomfort and, in severe cases, affect vision. If you're in Peiraias (Kentro - Dimos), consult an ophthalmologist for treatment options to manage and prevent complications.
