Kifisia is on the north suburbs of Athens. It is mostly inhabited by the high class society of Athens. From the year of 2010 the municipality of Kifisia consists of the ex-municipalities of Nea Erythrea and Ekali. According to the 2011 census the population reached 71.000 people.Kifisia is inhabited from the ancient years. It was, in fact, one of the 12 ancient cities of Attica.In the modern years, the area is a municipality since 1942.
