Athens is a city of great history. Its sights and hidden treasures excite millions of visitors every year. However, anyone who wants to avoid walking can use the Metro (Blue Line 1) which connects Syntagma Square with Gkazi area (Kerameikos’ station).

The sacred rock of Athens, Acropolis, is a classical must see for everyone. As for the new Acropolis Museum which was built in 2009, it is something no one should miss. Some of the greatest ancient monuments of our global heritage, are exhibited there.

For anyone who wishes to get a taste of the “old Athens”, they should go for a walk at the magical streets of Plaka, Thissio and Petralona where they can find beautiful cafes and restaurants with traditional Greek food.
